Annual Meeting 2026: Neighbors Helping Neighbors

On October 8, United Way of Lincoln County celebrated our Annual Meeting, making it a time to reflect, recognize, and rejoice in the work that United Way of Lincoln County and our supporters have accomplished in our community! Our 2025-2026 campaign brought in more than ever before—an incredible $474,730. These funds will allow United Way of Lincoln County to address needs and impact more of our neighbors, as 100% individual donations go right back into Lincoln County. This year, we were able to increase funds for our funded partners, create more outreach programs, and provide direct support to those in need. With this growth, we are sure next year will be even better. Alisha Friday, UWLC executive director, said, "Last year’s incredible momentum shows what we can accomplish when neighbors come together. As we kick off a new campaign, we invite our community to keep that momentum going. Whether through giving, volunteering, or advocating, everyone has a role to play in building a stronger Lincoln County."

This year, we recognized the following businesses and organizations for their incredible support:

  • Corporate Champion - The Timken Company
  • Leadership Award - Atrium Health-Lincoln
  • Rising Star Award - Green New Energy Materials
  • School Ally Elementary - Battleground Elementary
  • School Ally Middle/High - East Lincoln High School

We also recognized the following individuals for their work in our community:

  • United Way Ambassador - Jennifer Raimey
  • Community Impact Award - Chandlar Mims
  • Sherry Reinhardt for her exceptional years of service in Lincoln County
  • Leslie Barlowe for her dedication to the Asbury Resource Center, which is celebrating 10 years this year!

We want to thank our Signature Sponsor United Bank, and our Community Builder Sponsors, Green New Energy Materials and Denver Pediatric Dentistry! We also want to thank Mission Farm for allowing us to use your venue, Burton Farms General Store for providing the favors, and Ingrid Russell Photography for capturing this beautiful day.

Annual Meeting 2025

The 2025 annual meeting and birthday celebration highlighted incredible individuals and companies whose efforts impact United Way and Lincoln County as a whole. During the celebration, many companies were recognized as award winners: Timken Company as Corporate Champions, Duke Energy as Leadership Award winners, Lincoln Charter School as Rising Star Award winners, and Iron Station Elementary School and West Lincoln Middle School as our School Allies. Additionally, mutliple individuals were recognized for their community contributions: Robin Goodson was awarded the United Way Ambassador Award, Ryan Smith was awarded the Community Impact Award, and the Legacy Award 65th Edition was awarded to Leonard Elliott Beal. Our 65th birthday celebration also included speeches from Elliott Beal's son, Bryan Beal, who shared how his father became connected to United Way and his dedication to service and outlook on gratitude, and Cathy Davis, former UWLC executive director, who shared her connection to United Way and the impact that she has seen the organization make in our community. The event came to a close by focusing on United Way of Lincoln County's birthday wish: a stronger, healthier, more united Lincoln County.
