Kellie Hardin, who previously served as the Community Health Manager for the Lincoln County Health Department, has joined United Way of Lincoln County as Community Impact and Communications Coordinator.
Kellie, who is experienced in community outreach and health education, graduated from Belmont Abbey College in 2005 with a BA in Biology, and UNC-Greensboro in 2011 with a Master of Public Health in Community Health Education. Prior to coming to the Lincoln County Health Dept., where she served from December 2013 until July 2020, Kellie was the Regional Healthy Food Environment Coordinator for the Cabarrus Health Alliance.
She lives in Lincolnton with her husband Brad, their 5-year-old daughter Vivienne, their 2 year-old-son Abram, and the canine member of the family, their Corgi named Scarlet. She enjoys gardening with her family, arts and crafts with her kids, date nights at the movies or a nice restaurant (pre-COVID) with her husband, and relaxing by finding new recipes to try and new tv shows to stream. Kellie enjoys learning new things and meeting new people and is excited to get started with United Way to help make a difference in Lincoln County.
