Andrew Beard

Andrew Beard is a Lincolnton native and currently lives in Denver, NC. He is a Senior Engineer at Duke Energy within the Power Grid Operations organization, where he is responsible for maintaining grid reliability and supporting operational planning. He has served in this position for four years. Prior to his current role, he worked in Integrated Resource Planning within Duke Energy’s Enterprise Strategy and Planning organization. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. In addition to his professional responsibilities, Andrew serves on the executive board of the Stand Firm Warrior Foundation in Lincoln County, providing support to pediatric cancer patients on their journey towards healing and recovery.
