Who knew last March that the pandemic would last this long? Who knew that we'd miss celebrations like the Fourth of July, Denver Days, the Apple Festival and so many more? It has been a long, hard year...and with the end at last in sight, most are ready for a getaway.
The United Way of Lincoln County has just what you need. They're having a fundraiser silent auction for a Caribbean vacation. This Elite Island Resorts Silent Auction offers the chance to bid on an all-inclusive Caribbean vacation to beautiful Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia, or Panama, while helping the 13 partner agencies who rely on the United Way of Lincoln County for a part of their support.
Past United Way of Lincoln County Board Chair, Jimmy Bagnola, purchased a trip to Panama as a UWLC fundraiser and made memories to last a lifetime! He and his wife vacationed in Panama.
"The resort in Panama was awesome! It was all inclusive, meals, drinks, activities-- everything! The package included activities for each day that we were able to customize once we arrived at the resort. We checked out some rope bridges through the jungle, tasted the world's most expensive coffee on a coffee tour, went white water rafting, went rock climbing/swimming in a natural gorge and hiked Volcán Barú overnight to catch the sunrise. So many great memories from that trip!"
